Glentauchers 17 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the 2008 vintage, bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Octave range at 53.5% ABV. It marks the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import and is finished in a Mizunara cask, made from Japanese oak. Only 77 bottles exist. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Glentauchers stands in Mulben near Keith and was founded in 1897. The distillery's fruity, malty character meets the exotic influence of the Mizunara wood.
