This Glentauchers is a single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series, bottled at 56.7% in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled in 1995 and matured for 29 years in a first-fill sherry butt, cask number 5075, before bottling in August 2024. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings stewed raisins, ripe mandarin and roasted coffee beans. On the palate, ripe redcurrants lead into spicy cinnamon and a touch of citrus peel. The finish is long, with spicy oak and sweet wild berries.
