A single malt from Glentauchers in Speyside, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2014 after 16 years in a refill hogshead. It is part of The First Editions series from Edition Spirits, with 311 bottles at 56.1% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration.
The nose offers vanilla, soft citrus, honey, apricot and light floral notes. Apple, pear, white grapes and creamy vanilla meet subtle wood on the palate. The finish is medium to long, with light spice, oak and sweet malt.
