Glentauchers – 20 Years Old 2006

This is a 20 year old single malt from Glentauchers Distillery in Speyside, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Thompson Bros. The whisky spent just over 18 years in a refill barrel before being re-racked into a first-fill Bourbon cask, where it spent the last 20 months of its maturation. It is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. It is described as a fruity malt, with notes of jelly beans, grapefruit and warming spice.
