This is a Glentauchers from Speyside, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024 at 18 years old by Thompson Bros. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 52.4% ABV.
The whisky matured in two refill hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
On the nose there are fresh green apples, sweet honeydew melon, vanilla pods and delicate floral notes. The palate is creamy, with caramel, warming cinnamon and a light touch of spicy oak. The finish is long and balanced between sweetness and spice.
