A 16-year-old Speyside single malt from Glentauchers, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2025 as a single cask in its Connoisseurs Choice series. It matured in a refill bourbon barrel and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.8%, filling 253 bottles of 70cl. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings ripe banana, poached pear, freshly cut grass, mango, mandarin and orange alongside malty pastry. The palate has red apple and pomegranate juice with lime zest, then milk chocolate, a touch of herbs and charred oak. The finish is light and fine, with pineapple, mango and heather honey, then vanilla and gentle oak spice of medium length.
