Glenturret – Manager's Dram Release No.1 American and European Sherry Oak Casks 'Sweet Peated' Bottled 2021 (70cl)

This is the first Manager's Dram release from Glenturret, a gently peated Highland single malt bottled in 2021 in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of American and European sherry oak casks, and only 750 bottles were filled. The American oak brings softer sweetness, while the European wood adds deeper dried fruit and spice. Together they give raisins, orange peel, toffee and baking spices over a honeyed malt core, with light peat adding gentle smoke and an earthy balance. It was developed during Bob Dalgarno's time as Whisky Maker.
