Glenturret – Triple Wood (70cl, 43%)

Glenturret Triple Wood is a Scotch single malt matured in a mix of American and European oak casks that previously held sherry, together with bourbon casks. The three cask styles are combined to give a golden colour and a gentle character. It is a sweet, lightly spiced whisky that builds on the fruity flavours of the new make spirit. Typical notes are apple, caramel, citrus and freshly cut oak, followed by soft woody spice, ginger and vanilla, leading to a light, soft and fruity finish.
