GlenWyvis – Batch 2 2018 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.5%)

GlenWyvis Batch 2 is a Highland single malt distilled between March and August 2018 and bottled in May 2022. It was vmarried from 23 casks: 60% first-fill Tennessee whiskey casks, 25% first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and 15% refill hogsheads. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and non-chill-filtered. GlenWyvis is a community-owned distillery near Inverness, founded in 2015, and it released its first whisky at the end of 2021. It uses only local Concerto barley. The nose offers soft white grapes turning jammy and sweet. The palate shows vanilla custard, sherbet and pear drops. The finish opens with dark chocolate, followed by lingering summer berries.
