This is the 2023 release of GlenWyvis single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2023, after maturing in ex-bourbon and wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered, has no added colour and was released in a run of 12,000 bottles.
The nose offers vanilla, ripe fruit and a gentle spiciness. On the palate come honey, oak and a hint of red berries. The finish is long and slightly dry, with subtle wood notes and a pleasant warmth.
