Gold Bar 889 is a blended American whiskey, put together from whiskeys selected from distilleries across the country. It is finished in used French oak wine barrels from Napa Valley, which add to the fruit character that wine casks bring.
The blend is married and matured by the sea in San Francisco Bay. Its mash bill is 80% corn, 15% aged rye and 5% barley, and it is bottled at 40% ABV by the Gold Bar Bottle Company.
