Gold Bar California Cask Finished is a blended American whiskey made in San Francisco by Gold Bar Spirits Company, in a 750ml bottle. It combines American whiskies aged in new American oak barrels, which are then finished in casks that previously held California red wine.
The bottle is shaped like a gold bar and embossed with the brand's Lady of Fortune coin.
Warm amber with copper glints, it has a nose of vanilla, toasted oak, dried red fruits and light caramel. The palate is silky, with vanilla cream, toffee, dark cherry and a hint of wine-cask fruit. The finish is smooth, with honey and oak spice.
