Gold Bar Diamond Edition is an 18-year-old blended American whiskey bottled at 47.5% ABV. It was made in collaboration with designer Kyle Chan and comes in Gold Bar's gold bullion-shaped bottle.
The blend is finished in cognac barrels with toasted oak staves, which adds depth to the character of the whiskey.
The nose is warm vanilla, honey and toasted oak with hints of dried fruit. The palate is smooth and rich, with caramel, baking spice and subtle nutty notes. The finish is long, warm and slightly sweet, with oak and spice lingering.
