Gold Bar Original is a blended American whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 88% corn, 9% rye and 3% barley.
The base whiskies are sourced from distilleries across America. They are then finished in Napa Valley wine barrels at the Gold Bar distillery in San Francisco, California. Previously used French oak wine barrels are part of the finishing.
It is described as having a gentle body, with notes of honey, red fruit and subtle spice.
