Gold Bar Original is a blended American whiskey at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from 88% corn, 9% rye and 3% barley, with the base whiskies sourced from distilleries across America.
The whiskey is double casked in Napa Valley wine barrels and finished at the Gold Bar distillery in San Francisco, California. Previously used French oak wine barrels are said to bring out its fruit notes.
It has a gentle body, with notes of honey, red fruit and subtle spice.
