Rickhouse is a straight bourbon from Gold Bars, made from a mash bill of 80% corn and 20% rye. It is bottled at cask strength, 51.5% abv or 103 proof, and is non-chill-filtered. The bourbon is bold, rich and spicy, with pronounced vanilla and smoke. On the nose it is typically described as smoky, with grilled meats, campfire, caramel, brown sugar and coffee. The palate is smooth and nutty, leading to a finish of vanilla bean.
