Gold of Mauritius Dark Rum (70cl)

A dark rum from Mauritius, distilled from local sugar cane and pure island water. It is aged in oak casks that previously held Port wine, giving it complexity and a distinctive flavour. On the nose there are vanilla, caramel, ripe fruit and toasted wood. On the palate there are dark chocolate, coffee and exotic spice notes, together with the natural sweetness of sugar cane. Serve neat or in sophisticated cocktails, after dinner or for a relaxed evening.
