Gold Spot 13 Year Old The Generations Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in bourbon and sherry casks, then spends 16 months in Valpolicella Recioto sweet wine casks.
The wine finish lifts the subtle spice of Gold Spot, adding dark fruits, berry compote and a softly textured sweetness. The edition celebrates seven generations of the Mitchell family, guardians of Spot Whiskey and one of Ireland's leading wine families.
The finish carries a touch of oak and sweet wine.
