This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Goodwood Brewing, aged in charred American white oak barrels.
After its time in oak, the bourbon is finished in barrels that previously held Goodwood's Walnut Brown Ale, which gives the whiskey a link to the brewery's own beer.
The notes combine walnut, toffee, oak, biscuit and malt in layers, and the finish carries a subtle touch of ale.
