Grand Old Parr 18 Year Old (75cl, 40%)

Grand Old Parr 18 Year Old is a Scotch blended whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40% abv. Its brown bottle is deliberately mottled and wrinkled, like the skin of a very old man, as a tribute to Thomas Parr, who is said to have lived for more than 150 years. The taste is usually described as fruity, smoky and spicy. Vanilla with oak and spice comes first, followed by sawgrass and green willow. With patience, honey and caramel emerge beneath a soft smoke.
