A Michigan straight bourbon from Grand Traverse Distillery, made under the Bottled in Bond designation. It was mashed, distilled and bottled in Traverse City, Michigan, and comes at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and baking spice. On the palate there is toffee, sweet grain, vanilla cream and oak, with a warm, peppery spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering caramel sweetness and oak.
