Grant's Triplewood (175cl)

This is Grant's Triplewood, a blended whisky previously labelled Grant's Family Reserve, in a 1.75L bottle. It is matured in three types of wood: refill bourbon, American oak and virgin oak. All three are American oak, at different stages of use. The nose is described as honey, fresh apricot, floral and supple barley, with candied orange, star anise, dried chili and a touch of aniseed. The palate is exceptionally smooth, with caramel, date, red fruits, chocolate and pecan pie, finishing with wood char and spice.
