Grappa Storica Nera (50cl)

A grappa from the Domenis 1898 distillery, produced in Friuli from carefully selected pomace. It is distilled in traditional bain-marie stills and then rested. It has a clear, bright colour. The nose offers fresh fruit and a light sweet spice note. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with a balance between alcohol and aroma, and a long, pleasant finish. It is suited to serving after a meal as a digestif, as a base for refined cocktails, or neat, perhaps with dark chocolate or aged cheeses.
