Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was once sold only through Mitchell's grocer shop in the centre of Dublin.
The whiskey has matured in a combination of first and second fill bourbon casks and sherry casks.
The nose offers peppermint, malt, sweet barley, sugary porridge, creamy vanilla, papaya and citrus. The palate is spicy and soft, with gentle bourbon oak, green woods, menthol and potpourri. The finish is long and creamy, with vanilla.
