Guerin Blanc Dry Vermouth (75cl)

Guerin Blanc Dry Vermouth is a French dry white vermouth from the Charentes in south-west France, made by Société Puy Gaudin. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The base is Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Montils wine together with two-year-old white Pineau des Charentes. Angelica root, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg and bitter orange peel are added, and the vermouth is aged for several months in Cognac casks. Its small amount of sugar comes from the grapes alone. The nose offers orange blossom, elderflower and Asian spices. The palate is dry and savoury, supple and silky with subtle minerality, and a touch of tannin on the finish.
