This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Hand Barrel, distilled and aged in Kentucky and bottled by Bardstown Bourbon Co. It is aged for a minimum of two years in new charred oak, using a double oak process.
The nose brings toffee, caramel, buttered corn and cinnamon pepper spice. The palate is round and viscous, with oaky caramel, butter and bursts of pepper giving way to honeyed sweetness, baked apple and cinnamon. The finish is a pepper, cinnamon and mint warmth with light tannin.
