Hand Barrel Special Operations L.T.O. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (52.5%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from Hand Barrel's Special Operations Warrior Foundation Custom Series, bottled at 52.5% ABV. It is the brand's first limited edition, in an outturn of 9,000 bottles. Two mash bills are blended: a traditional high rye recipe of 64/24/12 and a high corn recipe of 78/10/12 from Bardstown Bourbon Company. The whiskey was distilled and aged in Kentucky, bottled at Bardstown Bourbon Company and is non-chill filtered. Ten percent of proceeds goes to S.O.W. Vibrant, rich oak gives way to a sweet, honey-like mouthfeel and a fiery baking spice finish.
