Hardin's Creek 8 Year Old Middle Distillation Profile is a Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co., aged for eight years and bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of three expressions in the Distillation Series, and the name refers to its 115-proof first-distillation target. All three bottlings share the same mash bill and fermentation. The nose has vanilla bean, brown sugar and toasted oak. The palate is rounded, with toffee sweetness, vanilla and warming cinnamon, and the finish brings toasted oak and cinnamon spice.
