Hardin's Creek Colonel James B. Beam is the second release in the Hardin's Creek series, a bourbon bottled at 54% in a 750ml bottle.
It was taken off the still at a low distillation proof and aged for just two years, a short time chosen to give a fullness and complexity usually found in more mature bourbons. The name looks to Colonel James B. Beam's post-Prohibition bourbon.
It is described as having notes of vanilla, earthy nuts and oak, with a distinctive caramel body.
