Hardin's Creek Colonel James B. Beam Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 54%)

Hardin's Creek Colonel James B. Beam is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for two years in new charred American oak, bottled at 54% in a 750ml bottle. It was the first release in the Hardin's Creek series from James B. Beam Distilling Co., in July 2022. The release honours Colonel James B. Beam, who rebuilt the family distillery in 120 days after Prohibition ended. It recreates the whiskey he filled on the 121st day, using a low distillation proof and a longer fermentation. The nose is robust vanilla and caramel, the palate deep and complex with vanilla, nuts and oak, and the finish long and full.
