Little Book Chapter 6: To The Finish is a barrel-strength American whiskey at 58.7% ABV, blended by Freddie Noe, eighth-generation Beam distiller. It is the 2022 limited release, issued in September of that year. It combines five whiskeys: four 4-year-old straight malt whiskeys, finished with cherrywood staves, applewood-smoked barrels, hickory-smoked barrels and maplewood staves, and a 5-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered, and the idea comes from the smoking of hardwoods in cooking. The nose offers brown sugar, toasted cumin, cardamom and hickory-smoked almonds. The palate is rich toasted grain, growing nuttier and smokier, with dark chocolate, red pepper and malt syrup. The finish has a robust mouthfeel and a welcoming sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
