Hatozaki Triple Cask Reserve Japanese Whisky (75cl, 46%)

Hatozaki Triple Cask Reserve is a Japanese malt whisky made at the Kaikyō Distillery and blended by master distiller and blender Kimio Yonezawa. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 46% (92 proof). The whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon, sherry and Umeshu plum liqueur casks, with the final six months spent in Umeshu oak barrels. The nose is typically described as black tea, dried fruit and delicate vanilla. On the palate come dried apricot, oak spice and a gentle sweetness, leading to a smooth, long finish.
