Hazelburn 8 Years is an unpeated Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 48.2%. This edition was distilled in February 2017, triple distilled, and matured for over eight years in Oloroso sherry casks.
It is non-chill-filtered with no added colour, and the outturn is 10,500 bottles worldwide.
The nose is very soft and creamy, like lemon cheesecake, with vanilla and citrus. The palate brings ripe peach and red apple, vanilla, honey and orange peel, with a little liquorice and aniseed. The finish is gentle and long, with grassy freshness, honey and glazed dates.
