Heaven's Door Double Barrel American Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Heaven's Door Double Barrel is a blended American whiskey from Heaven's Door Spirits, the brand co-founded by Bob Dylan, bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It blends three American whiskeys, reported to be two straight bourbons and one straight rye, each aged for a minimum of five years in new American oak. The blend then spends a further six to twelve months in hand-toasted new American oak barrels. The colour is deep amber. The nose is caramel and toasted oak with sweet vanilla, citrus zest and baking spice. The palate adds caramel, oak, citrus and spice with toasted vanilla, and the finish is drier and lingering, with oak, leather, light peppercorn and vanilla.
