This is a 5 year old Madeira from Henriques & Henriques, a house founded in 1850 at Câmara de Lobos on the island of Madeira. Finest Full Rich is a fortified wine made from Tinta Negra, the island's most prolific and versatile variety, and aged for five years in oak casks.
The nose is intense, led by caramel and followed by fruit. The palate is full-bodied, succulent and rich, with a long finish.
It can be served chilled as an aperitif, as is traditional on the island, or after a meal.
