This is a 10 year old Madeira from Henriques & Henriques in Câmara de Lobos, made entirely from Sercial, the driest of Madeira's noble grapes. It is bottled at 20% vol in a 75cl bottle.
It is aged for a minimum of ten years by the canteiro method in balseiro and pipas, and the age statement refers to the youngest wine in the blend. The style is dry, with firm acidity.
On the nose and palate there is dried apricot, lemon zest and spiced almond over mineral, saline and wood notes. The finish is long and tapered.
