Henry McKenna Single Barrel 10 Year Old Bottled in Bond (75cl, 50%)

Henry McKenna Single Barrel is a 10 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in bond at 50% in a 750ml bottle. It is named after Henry McKenna, an Irish immigrant who adapted his family's whiskey recipe to the grains he found in Kentucky. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, and the front label carries a handwritten barrel number and barrelled-on date. The bourbon rests in the barrel through 40 Kentucky seasons. It is a warm golden amber. The nose has vanilla, caramel, oak and a light herbaceous note. The palate brings smooth oak, sharp spices and honey sweetness, followed by a long, sweet and spicy finish.
