This is a Teaninich single malt from the Highlands, bottled by the independent bottler Hepburn's Choice from a single refill sherry butt. It is 10 years old, from the 2007 vintage, and was bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, in an edition of 804 bottles.
The nose offers ripe apple, sweet pear, honey, creamy vanilla and a light floral touch, with delicate herbal notes and soft toasted oak. The palate has white fruit, light caramel, toffee and sweet spice, with malted cereal and a little fine wood. The finish is medium to long and warm, with ripe fruit, vanilla and soft spice.
