High Coast – Dálvve The Signature Malt (70cl, 46%)

High Coast Dálvve The Signature Malt is a Swedish single malt, made from whisky matured for just over five years in large bourbon barrels, with about a quarter of it smoky. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and is neither coloured nor chill-filtered. Dálvve means winter in Southern Sami, a nod to the changing seasons that shape the distillery. The first batch appeared in November 2016 as the distillery's first ongoing bottling. It has been made in batches to the same recipe since, with small variations from the barrels. It is described as medium-smoked, light but still tasty.
