This is a 16-year-old Highland single malt selected by Phil and Simon Thompson of Thompson Bros. in Dornoch. It is bottled at 45.1% ABV without chill-filtering or added colour.
After its main maturation the whisky had a six-year finish in Moscatel casks from the Iberian Peninsula. It shows a copper colour in the glass and a fruit-led character built on the sweetness of the dessert wine.
On the nose there are ripe orange, dried orange peel and blood orange, with light honey and floral touches.
