This is a 16-year-old Highland single malt selected by Thompson Bros. of Dornoch, bottled in July 2026 at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
After its main maturation, the whisky spent its final six years in Moscatel casks sourced from the Iberian Peninsula. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Tasting notes describe ripe orange and runny honey on the nose. The palate is creamy, with caramel and light hazelnut alongside the fruit of the Moscatel. The finish is long, with oak and a touch of cinnamon.
