This is a peated Highland single malt of 12 years, selected by Thompson Bros. and bottled at 45.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 895 bottles were filled.
After more than twelve years of maturation, the whisky was finished for three years in ex-rum casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Tasting notes describe Highland smoke and earthy peat on the nose, with vanilla and a hint of caramel. The palate is creamy, with caramel and spicy wood under soft smoke. The finish is long and dry, with lasting caramel sweetness and fine wood spice.
