This is a 19 year old Highland single malt bottled by Thompson Bros. in Dornoch, in a 70cl bottle at 57.1% ABV.
It was distilled on 21 June 2007, matured in refill hogsheads and bottled in July 2026. It is peated, with a maritime side, and honey and fruit set against the salty, savoury notes. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring, so it may turn hazy when cold or when water is added.
The nose has charred hazelnuts, peaty malt, burnt sage, tar and crushed shells. The palate is powerful, with citrus, heather honey, salt and smoked ham. The finish brings salted peanut brittle, earthy peat and lingering cigar smoke.
