Hillrock – 5 Year Double Cask Bourbon Whiskey

Hillrock Double Cask is a 5 year old bourbon from a distillery in New York's Hudson Valley. Hillrock describes its approach as field to glass. The grain is grown on the estate, and the malt is floor malted and smoked on site. The whiskey is distilled in a copper pot still, aged in small oak barrels and bottled by hand. Hillrock is the first distillery in the USA since before Prohibition to floor malt and make whiskey on site from estate-grown grain.
