Hillrock – Double Cask Rye Whiskey

Hillrock Double Cask Rye is an American rye whiskey made in small batches on the Hudson Valley estate where the rye is grown. The grain is milled, pot distilled, aged and bottled by hand on the same estate. The whiskey is aged first in new American oak casks with a number 3 char, then moved into new American oak casks with a number 4 char. The second maturation adds layers of caramel and vanilla to the traditional rye spice.
