A blended Scotch whisky from House of Hazelwood, the private collection of the Gordon family, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
Malt and grain were distilled to be matured together, and in 1965 they were laid down side by side in American oak, where they aged for 56 years.
The nose is soft, with marzipan, preserved orchard fruit and polished leather. The palate brings herbal teas, dark florals, dried figs and tobacco-shop spice, with oak giving structure.
