The Lost Estate is a 43 year old blended grain Scotch whisky from House of Hazelwood, made from well-matured grain whiskies of two Scottish distilleries that have since closed. It was matured in American white oak casks. It is bottled at 41.6% in a 70cl hand-labelled, individually numbered decanter, with no added colour and without chill filtration. The nose is creamy and rich, with estery pear drop and bright mandarin orange. The palate is sweet and deep, with further fruit and a crisp, clean barley sugar character.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
