House of Lords Scotch Whisky is a single malt from the 1960s, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is soft, with malt, butter, toffee and marzipan over a light background of coal smoke and herbal or nutty notes. The palate is round, smooth and oily, led by caramel and vanilla, with delicate malted biscuits, a spicy touch of oak and a very faint echo of peat.
The finish is medium to lasting, clean and honeyed, leaving a warm, vanilla-tinged memory.
