This is Hyde No. 5, an Irish bottling that has been given a Burgundy finish.
The nose offers plenty of vanilla, toasted oak and clove spice alongside dark forest berries. On the palate there is vanilla cream, plenty of nuts, shortcrust pastry, raspberries, fresh apple and sweet honey.
The finish is long-lasting, with plum jam and a dry woody note.
