This is a double oak, American style whisky from Chichibu distillery, bottled for Ken's Bar in Tokyo on its first anniversary. Only 238 bottles were released.
It was distilled in 2006 and first aged in Kentucky until 2012. It then spent five years at the Chichibu distillery before bottling in 2017.
Chichibu is a small distillery in Chichibu city, Saitama, just outside Tokyo. It has nine full-time employees and is owned by Venture Whisky, founded in 2004.
